During this period, one grows deeper in his inquiry into the Brothers life. He meets a Brother(known as the Brother mentor) for informal monthly discussions and sharing about his faith experiences. With the Brother, he clarifies his interests and motives. The Aspirancy stage does not require the candidate to live with the Brothers. This stage normally takes two years.
