Forming, guiding and educating young people requries that the Brother be emotionally and intellectually mature. He must have a genuine concern for them and act as their role model.
A Brother must also be a man of prayer. Through prayer, the Brother nurtures the love of Jesus has for young people in need of light and warmth in a world that is often dark and cold. One has to believe that God cares for these young people whose basic goodness may be buried under the confusion of adolescence, the anguish of broken homes and the burden of poverty. |
